Adoption Promise

It is extremely important to us to find forever homes for our animals.  It is crucial for potential adopters to spend as much possible time with the animal to ensure it is a good fit for ALL members of your family - this includes humans and animals already living in your household.  Be sure to bring in children and other pets to make sure everyone is compatible before adopting.

If any problems arise with your new pet, call us ASAP for assistance.  We will work with you to help.  If you are unable to keep your new pet, you are required to return it to our shelter (contact us to set up a time to return the animal).  Our contract states that you will not give up or sell the pet to another person, relative, friend or any other individual, or any rescue group, humane association, shelter, or adoption center unless pre-approved by our shelter.  

All adoption fees are non-refundable as they are considered a donation to the shelter.
